Film Photos!

For the nostalgia lovers!

If I’m being honest, film is defiantly having a moment in the wedding photography world but the first photos I ever took back when I was 13 were on film. I also exclusively photographed black and white as well as color film throughout college as I was pursuing my BFA in photography. I love film! It just has a nostalgic and more intentional quality to it. It slows me down some as a photographer and really connects me back to my photographer roots. I exclusively use film for documenting my own special moments in life and I’m now offering that option as an add on for you all as well!

I’m now offering full wedding day coverage in film and single roll film add ons for both weddings and portrait sessions! I can offer both 35mm or medium format 120mm color film options. Both are priced the same. 35mm gives you more photos with smaller negatives, 120mm gives you fewer photos but larger, more detailed images.

Full day film wedding coverage - $3,000

For couples who really want their wedding day captured on film along with digital! Full day coverage means film photos along side digital for the entire time you have photography booked for. Typically this will cover everything from getting ready to the dance floor! Typical full day coverage includes around 10 rolls of film and a dedicated second photographer so that one of us can focus on film while the other captures moments digitally. This option is a beautiful way to capture how the day really felt.

Single roll add on - $300 a roll

For couples who want a little bit of film mixed into their day! Most couples opt for 1-3 rolls to be mixed into their day for a little something that feels extra special. If you go this route we’ll have a discussion about which parts of the day film feels like it will be best utilized. Typically for single roll add ons, I like to focus on capturing a portion of your portraits on fiIm as well as times that are great for candids like cocktail hour! The maximum amount of rolls you can book for this option varies but to successfully document your day in both digital and film I suggest that you add on no more than 4-5 rolls of film if you only have 1 photographer.
