Hey I’m Jordan!

I never know how to wrap myself up into a nice little paragraph, it’s just not my style. I’m the kind of gal that likes lengthy novels, cross-country road trips and spending all day in art museums. I love listening to and telling stories, especially through my camera. I’m somehow both an introvert and an extrovert. In the end I think those are all the things that make me a successful photographer. I describe my photography style as fine art-documentary. I make honest photos through a creative lens.

The one secret you should know about me... I never thought I’d be a wedding photographer but it turns out that weddings are my absolute favorite thing to photograph.

While getting my degree in Photography at Columbia College Chicago, I dreamed of being able to make the kind of work I wanted and being able to find clients who love the way I tell stories through my camera. I didn’t know that this would be through wedding photography until I shot my first wedding in 2013.

I photograph weddings and couples because it’s an honoring challenge to capture those intangible feelings of love. I live for capturing those little romantic moments, those goofy things that only happen in real life and doing so in a way that’s true to my artistic vision and to you as a couple. Wedding photography for me is a collaboration with you the couple. I want you to be relaxed and comfortable on your wedding day because you know that you’re in good hands.

If you’re interested in having your wedding day documented in a way that turns your love into art you can hold onto for the years to come, please contact me. I’d love nothing more than to tell the story of your love for each other.
