I never know how to wrap myself up into a nice little paragraph, it’s just not my style. I’m the kind of person that likes lengthy thriller novels, cross-country road trips and spending all day in art museums.

I’m a little bit of a goofball (I like to think in a charming way). I’m originally from Kansas but have been a Chicagoan for 18 years now (what is time?!), where I live with my dog Maeby in our classic little brick bungalow on the northwest side.

The one secret you should know about me... I never thought I’d be a wedding photographer but it turns out that weddings are my absolute favorite thing to photograph.

While getting my BFA in Photography at Columbia College Chicago, I dreamed of being able to make the kind of work I wanted and being able to find clients who love the way I tell stories through my camera. I didn’t know that this would be through wedding photography until I shot my first wedding in 2012.

Leaving my career as a staff photographer at The Art Institute of Chicago in 2016 to start my own business and pursue wedding photography full time was one of the most fulfilling decisions I’ve ever made. Getting to work closely with clients to document their biggest life milestones is such an honor. Wedding photography for me is a collaboration with you to tell your story. I want you to be relaxed and comfortable on your wedding day because you know that you’re in good hands.

Adopted from PAWS Chicago in August 2020 (Yes, she’s a pandemic puppy)
Likes: sticks, snow, wrestling with dog friends and TREATS
Dislikes: bags blowing in the wind, not being able to catch squirrels, being away from her mom, waiting for food
